The Chief Mourner


I heard of the death of N.C.Mallory with sadness, he was one of the most trenchant followers of my work. I sketched him quickly on the iPad, to mark this day. Later I painted the Chief Mourner from the Elephants' Graveyard in his honour.

Not Gaitskell

My nickname for this model is Gaitskell although he doesn't really look like Hugh Gaitskell. But when politicians are pontificating I find it helpful to visualise them with no clothes on. I drew this in Zen Brush which is fun to use for lifedrawing.
