You could spend a lifetime exploring the
Victoria & Albert Museum. After visiting the
Shadow Catchers: Camera-Less Photography exhibition I trickled through the splendid Medieval Galleries and
Cast Courts where I sketched these curiosities: a stone head with three faces, a small wooden figure of a hairy "wild man" from Switzerland, a painting of a similar "wild woman" with only her pink breasts poking out of the fur, and a superb carving of a man wearing a bonkers hat on the
doors of Aix-en-Provence cathedral.
Pencil, pen and wash A5 and A6 sizes. Click to enlarge.

The look of this reminds me a little of the old "Believe it or NOT" series.
