For the second time in a week (see earlier post) I find myself featured in an art book about maps. I picked up my copy of The Map as Art by Katharine Harmon at the book launch held at England & Co. My page shows two maps drawn from memory: Australia and USA.The gallery is currently showing cartographic works by various contemporary artists, including Terry Ryan. Afterwards Terry and I went for a drink with Wasserman and discussed sleepwalking twins, obnoxious curators, triple-decker analytic couches and The Turnip Prize.
