I met a bloke at a party in Brighton who'd placed a microphone under the sea. The cable ran into his house and the sounds were played in his living room. This sketch is part of a series which will be developed into finished paintings.Watercolour, pencil and ink. 10cm x 11cm.

This is great! Wonderful images--especially the shoe and other stuff under the sea. There's a PBS radio show here in the SF Bay Area where they pretend to have a microphone under the bay every week (the aquaphone they call it).
I was wondering where my other shoe was.
