Ultra Bore

Possibly the most boring drawing I've ever been asked to do. It was for a press ad but I can't remember the client, to be honest. It shows the world's first iron bridge at, er......Ironbridge.

BOAC

B.O.A.C eventually became British Airways; people used to joke that it stood for "Better Off On a Camel". Which has got practically nothing to do with this image except it's titled The Camel Driver II. Previous effort here.

The Iowa Cow

Just finished the biography of Paul ErdÅ‘s by Paul Hoffman. He quotes an old joke from the American Mathematical Society: "A Physicist and a mathematician are flying cross-country together. Each is keeping a diary of the trip. They fly over a white horse in Iowa, The physicist writes, 'There is a white horse in Iowa.' The mathematician writes, 'There exists, somewhere in the Midwest, a horse, white on top.' "
