Ouroboros

It's your typical Ouroboros with a touch of the old Theosophical Star thrown in for good measure. A linocut commissioned by an old hippie.
Linocut with digital colour. 18cm x 17cm. Click to enlarge.

I've never tried doing linocuts, I'm very clumsy and would probably lose a finger or 2 if I did! A lovely design :)

Two symbols of wholeness in one - and a beautiful woodcut.
The ourobos is one of my favourite symbols. Tucked away, I have a medieval one with legs that one day, when finances permit, I shall have tattooed upon my person.
