This reminds me of old political cartoons. I would have loved to watch your interaction with them from the sidelines.
Terrific piece, and I agree with Chris about the old political cartoons. Wonderful, expressive style, and great take on the theme. btw, I cringe every time the doorbell rings because of those tie-wearing, bike-riding bible thumpers who feel compelled to save me.
These are "amazing" Ellis.. They DO look like old political cartoons(back when they GAVE a damn about drawing)
I cant' comment on the theme part though... Religion is a personal choice. Dont' wanna step on peoples toes. It would be like dissin' someone on their hair cut.
Regarding religion, i'm neither one nor the other, and you're right, they shouldn't be knocking on your door disturbing your peace, but the way you made it sound.. didn't paint a pretty picture of Ellis Nadler.
Then again.. i dont know you.

Are their disproportionately large heads symbolic or were they also circus midgets? Just curious.

I drew a cartoon once that showed a billion locks on the inside of a front door with these guys standing outside. It was called "witness protection."
