Swanage Harbour

I was in Italy on the Ligurian coast but dreaming of Swanage on the Jurassic coast. Wooden waves, phallic lighthouses and metal sails liven the scene. The words "Sailing By"at the top of the page refer to the tune by Ronald Binge which I associate with this image.
Pen and ink and watercolour on yer actual Fabriano paper. 17cm x 25cm. Click to enlarge.

My next vacation spot. I want some of this real estate. It looks like a repetitive stress disorder.

I like the soft watercolours you have used on and around your bath toys.

Fantastic. The wooden textures of it all makes me reminisce: the pirates of a ficticious past.
