Inspired by Tommy Kane, I'm going to post daily pages from my sketchbooks. This is pen and wash from the trusty Moleskine, drawn after reading the monograph on the sculptor Martin Puryear. He did an impressive piece titled "Self." It somehow brought to mind a photo of a pig shed on flickr by Bollops, but for some reason I made it into a kind of vast upturned boat/hangar.
